Workshops
NECCA offers various workshops throughout the year. Focuses include a week long Trapeze Teacher Training program, Flying Trapeze weekends, Aerial Fabric weekends, a week long Aerial Skills Workshop and a week long Performance Lab for professional or pre-professionals. Workshops are in Brattleboro unless otherwise noted.

AERIAL FABRIC WEEKEND WORKSHOP June 13 - June 15 Instructors: Elsie / Bronwyn
in Brattleboro, VT at the Cotton Mill location Fee: $250 All Levels Welcome!
Age 16 & up unless by permission of instructor
The 3 day workshop meets for 4 hours each day. Friday 1 - 5 pm, Saturday from 1 - 5 pm and Sunday from 9 - 1 pm.
This workshop features work on proper technique, skill building, strengthening techniques, new choreography and new drops. With a low student:teacher ratio we are able to accomodate all levels and work to you own ability.

FLYING TRAPEZE WEEKEND WORKSHOPS FLY A: July 11 - 13 FLY B: August 21 & 23
Come Fly with us! in Brattleboro, VT at the Sunrise Farm location Fee: $200 (Saturday only:$100, Friday or Sunday only:$50, must have permission of instructor)
Beautiful Location! World class coaches! Fun yet serious training! Get ourself out of that training rut!
Each workshop includes warm up/stretching, and low trapeze training to reinforce flying skills. Maximum workshop size is 10 participants for lots of flying trime. Beginner to advanced flyers are welcome.
Workshops run Friday from 5 - 8 pm, Saturday from 9 - 12 pm & 5:30 8:30 pm, and Sunday from 10 am 1 pm on Sundays.
In case of rain we will move to our downtown location for lessons on technique improvement, form, dismounting and conditioning on the fixed trapeze. |
AERIAL SKILLS WORKSHOP August 25 - August 29 Instructors: Elsie / Serenity / Bronwyn
Where: Brattleboro, VT at the Cotton Mill location Fee: $850
All Levels Welcome! Age 16 & up unless by permission of instructor.
This is a 5 day workshop that meets from 9 am - 5 pm daily, Monday through Friday. Our focus will be on trapeze and aerial fabric skills, with additional apparatus including lyra, hammock/sling, duo trapeze, single point dance trapeze, spanish web/rope and net. Each day will begin with a thorough warm up and stretch, followed by aerial work. After a break for lunch we'll meet for workshops on rigging concepts, injury prevention techniques, and other topics of interest to aerialists. Then we'll have another session in the air, followed by a time when we can play on a variety of apparatus based on the request of the students. We'll end the day with stretching and conditioning! |
