Rolls, Rolls, Rolls for Rope & Fabric

Let’s do a deep dive into the expanded universe of the mighty C-Shape! We’ll cover both classic and unconventional drills with all the nuance of Eleanor’s near decade of roll-up experience.

We’ll also work on roll-up adjacent skills such as flares and dynamic twists.

Prerequisites:
Students should be able to cleanly execute a windmill (aka wheeldown) and/or double star.

What to Wear:
Please wear clothing that protects your body from rope kisses (aka rope burns). We highly recomend extra layers for your middle, such as a waist warmer.

About the Coach

Eleanor Parker is a multi-disciplinary circus performer and educator based in Chicago. A ProTrack graduate of the class of 2020 at NECCA, Eleanor has had the incredible opportunity of traveling all over the world with companies including AIDA Cruises, Cirque Dreams, and more.

Her recent work on aerial rope weaves together intricate research, personal story telling, and dynamic movement. You can find her documenting her circus training and art on Instagram at @circuseleanor.
