Partner Acrobatics Immersion

With Abby Neuberger

This workshop is for anybody who has a current practice of partner acrobatics who would like to create their own acrobatic vocabulary either with a longtime partner or with new partners. We will be focusing on our acrobatic imagination and use our technical toolbox to figure out how to create our own acrobatic skills or “words” and make our wildest acrobatic fantasies come true.

We will practice writing acrobatic “phrases” with our newly acquired and existing skill set. We can then adapt these phrases to tell a story, however abstract. Most importantly we’ll try to have fun in our practice and find joy in the discipline of partner acrobatics. This workshop is for anyone looking to elevate their technique with a good dose of creativity thrown in.

About the Coach

After graduating from the FLIC circus school in Turin and the Académie Fratellini in Paris Abby Neuberger created the “Keep Company” with her longtime hand to hand partner Luca Bernini, and ever since they have been touring all over Europe.

They have always enjoyed the freedom that their discipline allows and the possibility of invention in partner acrobatics. By mixing physical theater and acrobatics Abby and Luca have created their own language that they integrate into their humorous and wacky shows.
