Breaking Down Meathooks and Back Flags

With Carina Gillet

Let’s do a deep dive into the specific techniques used for back flags and meathooks, while breaking down conditioning methods on multiple aerial apparatuses. Depending on your requests, we’ll look at straps, lyra, trapeze, fabric, and hammock/sling. We’ll review which muscles are being engaged for each pose and how they engage.

We’ll explore conditioning methods both on and off apparatus to prepare the shoulder for movement and weight bearing in the ranges of motion required by these skills.
