Dance Pole Basics

Curious about chrome? This workshop is catered to folks who have previous Chinese and/or aerial/flying Pole experience, and are looking for a safe and fun atmosphere to try out dance pole!

Molly will guide a warmup, conditioning exercises, and introduce you to various dance pole moves and combos. Students can expect an accelerated introduction to chrome pole as we discover the similarities and differences between the disciplines!

Prerequisites:
Students should have previous Chinese or aerial/flying pole experience.

What to Wear:
The more skin exposure the better – short shorts and a tank/crop/sports bra are recommended. Please avoid oil based lotion application for 24 hrs prior to workshop.

About the Coach

Molly Selleck (she/her) is a queer/neurodivergent cis-woman with over 10 years of pole dance experience. She offers Burlesque, Pole, and Acro Chair workshops throughout the Northeast, creating inclusive and engaging experiences for students of all levels.

She is also the producer of & Pasties: A Burlesque Revue, a variety show featured at breweries, wineries, and other venues across Connecticut and Massachusetts.

When Molly is not on stage or in the studio, she works her day job in wildlife disease research or can be found at home snuggled up with her wife and dog.
