Valentine Talland

Valentine Talland, NECCA Board of Directors 2021 -23, is an art conservator who consults with New England and New York museums, universities, libraries, contemporary artists, and private art galleries and collectors. She led the objects conservation department at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, where she worked for twenty-seven years, including key management roles in capital building and collection restoration projects. She is the Co-Founder and President of Movement Arts Creation Studio Inc. (MACS), and is the Chair of the Foundation Board of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, served on the Board of Directors of the José Mateo Ballet Theatre, and is involved as an advisor and committee member to ArtsEmerson and Boston Dance Theater. She lives in Cambridge, MA.
