About Beta Night

Surprise! We’re back! Boy oh boy, it’s been a wild ride, but we’re excited to nurture this lovely event back to its full, beautiful chaos.

Come one, come all as we kick off a new season of Beta Nights. This month’s prompt is “surprise!” Surprise us with your new pandemic skill (Extreme knitting? Slow motion Tik Tok dances? Dramatic recipe reading? Or heck, maybe even a circus trick…) and get a chance to practice being a normal human in public. This show is for all ages. Masks required for audience and performers.

If you want to perform or volunteer to help out email vquine@necenterforcircusarts.org by May 15. You do not need to be a NECCA student and you can be any level of performer (1st time or 1,000th time).

Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test within 48 hours is required for entry to indoor shows. Wearing a surgical paper/KN95/N95/KF94 well-fitted mask at indoor events is mandatory for audiences age 2 and above.

FYI: Next month’s Beta Night will be on June 26th with a theme of “power.”
