More About the Program
The Fly Team curriculum is designed to elevate your flying to the next level – individualized to each team member’s aspirations and experience. You will learn swing physics, drills to improve key elements of your swing, and exercises to strengthen your swing. We’ll cover back-end tricks, the half turn, catching & returning in and out of safety lines, as well as high-level technique for layouts, cutaways, and beyond. We will also include catch locks and teacher training, so you can learn how to facilitate flying trapeze classes yourself. At the end of the program, there will be a performance opportunity, when Fly Team performs in the Flying Trapeze Recital on May 30th.
Additionally, NECCA offers a full spectrum of circus training opportunities, including group classes and private lessons with world class instructors. Following an orientation, Fly Team members will be welcome to train at all Members Only open training times at NECCA at no cost, allowing you to practice your circus skills.
