Guidelines for Training at NECCA
As a part of our continuation of in-person programming and in alignment with Governor Scott’s Vermont Forward Plan, please remember to follow all of these guidelines for training in the space. We can’t stay open without YOUR help and cooperation in following these rules:
You must not have any symptoms of COVID-19 and you must not have been near anyone showing symptoms or that has had a positive test.
You must wear a mask when indoors at NECCA. Vaccinated folks may wear a single layer mask. Unvaccinated folks over the age of 16 yrs who are training for three hours or more per day are asked to double mask.
Please wash or sanitize your hands and secure your mask before you enter the building.
Keep a 3 – 6 foot distance from anyone in the Trapezium. And please remember we have limited persons in the lobby.
Testing for Unvaccinated Persons of any age who engage in full-day programming such as camps, workshops and weekend immersions is required.
- All unvaccinated persons need to test 72 hours prior to entering NECCA.
- Unvaccinated persons from outside Vermont travelling by plane must also test 3-5 days after arriving in Vermont.
- Unvaccinated persons in multi-week programs, including youth camps and workshops, must test each week they are in a program.
NOTE: Send test results to our confidential email covid@necenterforcircusarts.org with your Name and Program/Workshop in the subject line.
Yay for Vaccination! Vaccinated coaches can spot. Vaccinated catchers can catch vaccinated flyers. Vaccinated persons and household members may participate in partnering activities within the 3-6’ distancing guidelines. Please stop at the front desk to pick up your orange “I’m Vaccinated” bracelet (adults) or blue paper wristband (youth) to wear during training and classes.
NO eating in the building. All vaccinated students will be able to drink indoors. All unvaccinated students are asked to step out-of-doors at the Trapezium or into the hallway at the Cotton Mill to drink water. Instructors have discretion for creating a stricter mitigation environment for their comfort and the comfort of their students.
Masks are no longer required when out-of-doors for vaccinated persons. Unvaccinated people participating in a class or program out-of-doors will continue to mask when in class.
