About this Workshop
Are you ready for some tools to help you advance your flexibility past “good” and towards “great”? In this workshop we’ll focus on back flexibility, including core strength, bend distribution, and spiral pathways. We’ll cover warm-ups and back mobilizers and also introduce you to ways to take your back flexibility towards contortion skills.
16 & up or permission of instructor.
5:30 – 8:30 pm
Skills: bridge with straight arms, able to find square in splits (they don’t have to be flat).
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Ariana Ferber-Carter debuted with Circus Smirkus, going on to specialize in contortion at New England Center for Circus Arts and San Francisco Circus Center. She has performed with Circus Bella, Celebrity Cruises, Nimble Arts, Six Flags, Worlds of Fun, Quixotic, and Aerheart. She can be reached @ariana.contortion.
