About This Workshop
This is a workshop on safely and effectively building releases into your rope practice. This workshop will cover beat techniques as well as technical exercises for the pirouette, the cartwheel j-flip, and many more release tricks.

Prerequisites:
Students should be able to straddle beat or fly beat from side to side without losing grip. Must be ready to let go of your fear of letting go.

About The Coach
While finishing her last year in college as a Theatre Major and Dance Minor, Jenny came across two circus folks who were choreographing for one of her class finals. She asked these new friends where they learned such magnificent skills, and if there was a place where she could learn too. Jenny ran off to into the circus world and never looked back. She began her training adventure in San Francisco Circus Center—focusing on all things aerial—but eventually found her love was with aerial rope/corde-lisse. Jenny went on to perform in Circus Varietes across Europe. While there, she began to broaden her teaching journey to share her love of rope with others, and to train more specifically in dynamic rope technique. She has been teaching all over for over 10 years—from San Francisco to Berlin, Spain, Boston, Colorado, Seattle, and now at home in Las Vegas where she continues to broaden her teaching skills and her art of aerial rope.
