About This Workshop

Are you curious about what your feet can do? Learn the art of small ball foot juggling! This workshop introduces juggling techniques while lying down and rolling around as well as creative object manipulation ideas that use your whole body. This is a great skill for folks trying to expand their performance repertoire or just looking for something fun to do while rolling around on the floor!

Prerequisites:
Students should be able to do basic three ball juggling with their hands, and be comfortable lying down with their legs in the air, either with or without the hips being elevated.

About The Coach

Violet Defiant Livingston // creator, writer, performer, educator // swinging trapezist, hand balancer, static trapezist, partner acrobat, object manipulator. Violet is a multidisciplinary circus artist, specializing in acrobatic and lyric storytelling. She graduated from NECCA’s ProTrack program in 2022, and has been creating and touring with the queer, rural circus collective Big Teeth Performance Collective since. In Goodbye Party The Show, Violet uses her technique as a foot juggler and trapeze artist to tell stories about climate catastrophe with grit and heart.
