About this Workshop

This workshop is for those who can complete one revolution of a single coil, or who doesn’t feel like passing out while making multiple attempts. We will take some time to review technique of slow rolls and I’ll introduce some variants such as the no-hands hip key slow roll, toe single coil, footlock roll, and no-wrap roll. The focus is slow rolls utilizing c-shapes versus momentum based rolls.

$35 ($45 for non Rope Meeting participants)

2:30 – 4:00 pm

Familiarity with slow roll and competency in a single coil (meaning you can do one most of the time, or could do one in the past, even if it ain’t pretty)

PJ Perry is a seasoned technical rope artist who has spent an inordinate amount of time obsessing about rolling up a vertical apparatus. She has a solid university background in anatomy and kinesiology, coming to performance as a second career in her 30s. PJ is currently devoting her energy to sharing her musings and training ideas via her coaching Patreon, in addition to performing solo and duo corde lisse. Coaching online has allowed her more time at home (to be with her doggo) in between international performance stints, and she couldn’t be more grateful for that. PJ will gladly tell you where she’s worked and with whom, but also hopes to exchange thoughts about coaching theory and discuss the relative cuteness of dogs.
