Introduction to Teaching Aerials

This Nimble Arts developed workshop is open to anyone who is interested in learning to teach the basic elements of trapeze and aerial fabric to children and adults at summer camps, schools, gymnastics programs, or circus schools following the Nimble Arts philosophy and methodology. Materials that will be covered include safety & spotting techniques; teaching methods; rigging & equipment maintenance; preventing chronic injuries; and skill progressions for beginning tricks.

Age: 16+

REQUIRED: All students are expected to prepare by successfully completing the elements in the required Nimble Arts™ DVD: “Aerial Fabric Beginning Level 1” prior to the start of the workshop. Trapeze experience is not necessary but it will make your journey easier! Please contact Elsie at nimblearts@gmail.com with any questions.

SCHEDULE:
Day 1: 9 am – 5 pm
Day 2: 9 am – 5 pm
Day 3: 12 – 8 pm
Day 4: 9 am – 5 pm
Day 5: 9 am – 4 pm

Cancellation Policy: 100% of the fee is refundable prior to one month before the first day of the workshop, after which time 50% of the class fee is refundable until two weeks before the first day of the workshop, after which time no refund will be given. In addition, our policies will be relaxed around COVID-19 restrictions. For example, if travel is restricted prior to the workshop you will not be penalized for not being allowed to join us in Vermont.
