Chinese Pole
With Levi Helton
Defying gravity. Floating transitions. Effortless power. These are hallmarks of the traditional circus art form that is now the highlight of many contemporary circus performances. In this three day Chinese pole immersion, you’ll hone your skills, clean your technique, build sequences, and work to find your unique style.
Whether you’re learning the basics or throwing sick tricks, we’ll meet you at your level and give you the creative tools to develop new transitions and connections, help you find your flow, and embellish your movement quality.
You’ll also be able to take advantage of the group atmosphere to move with others on the pole, developing skills essential to performing in duo or group situations.
Each day will begin and end with proper warm-ups and cool-downs to help prepare your body for all the hard work and fun that awaits you.

About The Coach
Levi Helton found his way to circus by way of martial arts and parkour. Upon discovering Emerald City Trapeze Arts Maui in 2011, he immediately fell in love with flying trapeze and mini trampoline. In 2013 his circus career began to blossom as he earned a position with Cirque Polynesia. performing solo and duo slings.
Levi went on to be part of a five person cube ensemble in 2015 and toured until 2017 when he moved from Hawaii to train at NECCA, where he graduated iwith a focus on Trampwall and Chinese pole. He returned to his love of coaching and has been inspiring acrobats on the ground and in the air.
You’ll find him teaching workshops all over the NorthEast, or doing carpentry around his home in the woods of Vermont.
