AERIAL FABRIC Instructors: Bronwyn / Suzanne / Deena / Caroline
Learn this popular & beautiful aerial form, like dancing on air! As with all our classes, you'll progress at your own pace & comfort level while learning graceful poses, wraps & transitions. Learn positions low to the ground, & move to higher skills as your strength & ability grows.

Start out with a full warm-up & stretching, then practice the basics of acrobatic movement including handstands, rolls, cartwheels, and more advanced flips & mini-trampoline for those who are ready.

Discover the joy of "hanging around". We teach trapeze movements tailored to your ability & desire learn at your own pace, explore at your own level. Trapezes are hung low at 3' to 7' high.

STRETCHING & STRENGTHENING Instructor: Bronwyn
A serious stretching class for all movers! Utilizing techniques from yoga, circus, gymnastics & more. Stretching helps prevent injury & promote improved movement for all your activities whether you drive a desk for a living or fly through the air! Strengthening exercises are included to balance the body and improve core stability. Stiff bodies are welcome!

INVERSIONS: Handstands & Backbends Instructor: Bronwyn
This class is designed to strengthen the upper body & learn the elements of handstanding as well as work into increased back mobility. Whether you are a beginner & wanting to move towards handstands at the wall & supported bridge, or more experienced with an aim to hold handstand with no wall support & backbend from standing, THIS is the class for you. The instructor will gently lead students through creative & fun exercises to help build upper body strength as well as back flexibility. Mondays 7 - 8:25 pm $188

Flying Mommas Circus Class: A class for the postpartum mommy (up to 18 months) Instructor: Deena
The class will be geared towards reclaiming the abdominal muscles, toning the whole body, and working to rid the upper body of "baby-posture": hunched shoulders, aching back, etc. We will combine elements of Yoga and Gyro-tonic as the class progresses from warm-ups to floor based acrobatics, and onto the trapeze and other aerial apparatus. No experience is needed. This class will be taught by Deena Frank, Mommy to baby Ruby, aerial dancer, certified vinyasa yoga teacher, certified Gyrotonic teacher, and DONA trained Birth and postpartum doula. Leave your baby at home and find time to regain your physical self! Saturdays, 1:30 - 2:30 pm Cost: $125

OPEN STUDIO TRAINING $10/day or free as make-up for a missed class.
A training session open only to students age 16 & up who are currently enrolled in classes or private lessons. The Wednesday Open studio is hosted by an instructor but is a training session without instruction & students may rehearse what they can safely do by themselves. Students must have permission of their instructor to attend Int/Advanced Open Studio times.
